IR-01-BAT41101 Ultra Hi-Capacity battery
This Extended Life Battery provides customers with up to 6.5 hours of talk time and up to 43 hours of standby time in full network coverage.
This Iridium 9555 high capacity battery is designed to be sold to customers as an add-on purchase and in addition to the standard battery that is shipped with the Iridium 9555.
This new accessory will allow customers to keep their phones on for longer to make additional phone calls, use data services longer, or extend time between recharges.
The Iridium 9555 high capacity battery will work properly with all firmware versions but in order for the battery icon on the phone display to provide an accurate representation of charge level, phone firmware HT11001 or newer is required.
It can be used as a replacement for the 9555 battery or as a spare battery for extended travel.
To install a new 9555 battery as a replacement or spare, remove the current 9555 battery by lifting the top latch and pulling the battery forward.
Install the new battery and charge for a minimum of 4 hours prior to use – preferably full overnight charging for optimal pre-use cycling.
